How do I unsubscribe?
You may unsubscribe from the Angus Reid Forum at any time. There are two ways you can unsubscribe from the Angus Reid Forum:
- Click 'unsubscribe' in any email communications received from the Angus Reid Forum.
- Contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org and request to be unsubscribed.
How often will I receive survey invitations?
You can expect to receive at least one survey per month. All surveys you complete will earn you points redeemable for e-gift cards (i.e., Amazon, Visa, and Walmart).
How can I find surveys?
If you are invited to participate in a survey, we will always send you an invitation via email. You can also check to see which surveys you've been invited to by logging into your account on angusreidforum.com and navigating to the 'My Surveys' area on your member dashboard.
How long are surveys?
Surveys are typically 5 to 15 minutes in length. Some surveys may be longer than 15 minutes, and compensation for those surveys will accordingly be higher.
How do you decide what to award for each survey?
Factors that determine how many points are awarded for each survey include length, topic, and/or complexity.
I clicked on a survey link from my email invitation, but cannot connect to the survey. What should I do?
It is possible that the link is spread across two or more lines of email. Try copying and pasting the full link into your browser's address bar. If you still cannot connect to the survey, please contact email@example.com.
I'm having trouble/technical difficulties taking a survey. What should I do?
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and provide details on what you are having difficulties with (screenshots of the issue are always welcome). Our support team will respond as soon as possible to assist you.
Why do some surveys end early, or I'm not allowed to complete them?
Some surveys are looking for specific types of people with certain characteristics (i.e., engineers, pet owners, or main household grocery shoppers). Other times, we've reached the maximum number of participants within a certain demographic, which helps ensure we have representative answers to the population of interest.
Even if you do not qualify to continue on in a survey, we still appreciate your effort. Partial points may be awarded for your time and effort.
How do points work?
All active members will obtain an Angus Reid Forum points account in which they will earn points from completing most surveys. The number of points received for each survey varies, and will be shown in the invite for each survey.
How can I check my points balance?
To check your points balance, login to your account at angusreidforum.com and navigate to the 'My Points' area on your member dashboard.
How can I redeem my points?
When your account reaches the points equivalent of $25 (i.e. 2500 points) you may redeem your points. Redeeming points in amounts less than $25 is not permitted. Please allow up to 2 weeks to receive your e-gift card.
What e-gift cards are available?
We will send you a Gift Card Pass which can be used to select e-gift cards from retailers such as, Amazon, Uber Eats, VISA, Walmart, and many more.
Why didn't I receive my e-gift card?
Please check your junk and spam folders for an email from email@example.com. If you still cannot locate your e-gift card, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do my points expire?
Points never expire as long as you continue to be an active member of the Angus Reid Forum and as long as the points program remains in effect. However, if you unsubscribe from the Angus Reid Forum or if your membership is terminated, your points account will be closed and all points will be forfeited.
What contests do you have and when are they used?
We have four quarterly contests (Jan 1st to March 31st, April 1st to June 30th, July 1st to September 30th, and October 1st to December 31st) every year for our members that are screened out of our surveys. Five $100 Amazon.ca e-gift cards are awarded at the end of each quarter (April, July, October, January) to the winners of these draws.
We also feature other unique contest opportunities through our membership portal and social media. Make sure to follow us to increase your participations.
How are winners notified?
Winners will be notified via email within 48 hours of a relevant draw. Selected entrants will be required to acknowledge by email, receipt of notification of eligibility for prize, and to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question. If no response is obtained within 7 days of notification of the relevant draw, the prize(s) will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner(s) in a random draw selected by computer from the remaining eligible entries. Prize(s) will be delivered by email within 30 days of correctly answering the mathematical skill-testing question and upon receipt of a signed waiver.
